In theory, I don’t see anything wrong with a Philly cheesesteak style pizza. However, just slapping a few slices of American cheese on a pizza seems very criminal to me.

Yeah Philly Cheesesteak Pizza shouldn’t be a crime, but they could have constructed it in a better manner.

When I worked at Dominos in the late 2000s, we made a Philly with the American first on the base of the crust as opposed to just throwing slices on top of all the toppings.

It was like American on bottom, onions,peppers,shrooms/steak, than a provolone/mozzarella mix on top if I’m not mistaken.

  3. You’re gonna have to pick up trash by the highway for those slices, OP.

Nah,, where I work, it goes American cheese, steak, mushrooms, bell peppers, onions, then some cheese on top.

This was one of the pizzas that got ordered at my work. There was another one that was a veggie pizza and it had these giant broccoli florets and grape tomatoes on it. I really wish I would have gotten a picture of that one. It was so weird looking.

At what point do you just eat the thing you are trying to pizza-fy? Like, just order a cheesesteak from somewhere. What is the crust giving you that a hoagie roll wouldnt?

I initially downvoted because this upset me so much, but then upvoted because this is an absolute pizza crime

I’ve had a Philly Cheesesteak pizza and it didn’t look anything like this. It was delicious too.

Almost all pizza places in and around ohilly use sliced cheese. I don’t hate it but they could use shredded cheese just as easily.
